Create a treefile in the `base-images` and `fedora-iot-bootc` repositories pointing to the newly branched release. This may be obsolete with the move to Konflux. An example of the treefile used for Fedora 41 composes can be found https://gitlab.com/fedora/bootc/base-images/-/blob/main/fedora-41.yaml?ref_type=heads[here]. Branched composes use `fedora-devel`.

You will need to manually change the comps and bootc `base-images` repos back to main. There are no branches in comps or `base-images`. (comps files are XML files used by various Fedora tools to perform grouping of packages into functional groups. For more information visit https://pagure.io/fedora-comps[click here].
